A hinge device, wherein the contact projections (54, 54) of a resin drive member (not shown) are inserted into the circumferential both end parts of keyways (41) in a metal rotating member (4), and the key parts (B3) of a storage tube part are inserted between the contact projections (54, 54), and the circumferential distances between the contact projections (54, 54) are increased slightly larger than the widths of the key parts (B3), whereby, when a transmitting part is rotated to an open or a closed position, the contact projections (54, 54) are collided with the key parts (B3) to produce a click sound and, since both contact projections (54, 54) and the key parts (B3) are formed of resin, the key parts (B3) can be prevented from being prematurely worn.
