<p>Appts for deflashing a hollow body of plastic material has a first mobile device for passing the body along a flash cutter and is equipped with hook for grasping the hollow bodies successively only at the level of their necks and placing them in a correct posn for deflashing. A second mobile device also acts at the level of the neck bodies and rotates them around their longitudinal axis while they are in contact with the flash cutter. Appts is relatively simple and operates at high rates, e.g. above 20,000 cuts per hr. for long periods. The flash is removed accurately without damage to the hollow body.</p> |
