PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide expendables such as an ink cartridge used in a system for issuing receipts such as a POS system. SOLUTION: A POS terminal device 3 of the POS system 1 is provided with an ink jet printer, and the ink cartridge 15 used as an ink supply source is attached to a cartridge attaching part 16. An IC memory chip 27 carrying advertisement information is attached to the ink cartridge 15, and when the ink cartridge 15 is attached, the advertisement information is read into the POS terminal device 3, and the advertisement information 66 is inserted in an issued receipt 17. An advertiser and an ink cartridge provider can inexpensively and massively sell ink cartridges by receiving an advertising fee from the advertiser, and a user of the POS system can inexpensively stock ink cartridges which are expendables. |
