PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic light scattering film which is allowed to have an anisotropy in light scattering properties (forward scattering or backscattering, and the dependence on the angle of incidence) and is easy to go to the extent of controlling the light scattering properties relating to the lengthwise and crosswise scattering range and, simultaneously, does not vary the color of the displayed light depending on the observing position, and a composition therefor. SOLUTION: The composition for an anisotropic light scattering film comprises at least (A) a bisphenol A type epoxy resin or a brominated bisphenol A type epoxy resin, (B) a compound having radical polymerizability, (C) a compound having at least one cationically polymerizable group in the molecule, and (D) a photopolymerization initiator which generates a radical seed and a cationic seed by chemical radiation, and the anisotropic light scattering film has a structure such that by distributing portions having a different refractive index in an irregular shape/thickness with the use of the composition in which the refractive index of the above component (B) is lower than the refractive indices of components (A) and (C), a pattern of light and shade composed of refractive index fluctuations is formed and, simultaneously, the portions having a different refractive index are distributed in the form of a layer slanted in the film thickness direction. |
