PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copolyester produced by using a novel polyester- polymerization catalyst other than an antimony compound. SOLUTION: The copolyester comprises being synthesized by a catalyst containing at least one of aluminum and an aluminium compound together with a phenolic compound.
