<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extended device mounting bay capable of surely identifying each extended pack to be mounted on a computer device with a simpler configuration. SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusions 3 for identifying an extended pack are arranged along positioning rails 4 in a case 1 for an extended pack. Also, extended pack identifying switches 5 are arranged in an extended device mounting bay 2. The protrusion 3 for identifying the extended pack which is arranged so as to be attachable and detachable is mounted at the position corresponding to the classification of the extended pack to be used. When the case 1 for the extended pack is inserted into the extended device mounting bay 2, the extended pack identifying switch 5 is turned on by the protrusion 3 for identifying the extended pack so that the classification of the extended pack can be identified.</p> |
