PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an unsaturated carboxylic acid amino alcohol ester in which by-products are less formed. SOLUTION: This is a method for producing anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid amino alcohol ester or its ketimine compound by the transesterification of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an amino alcohol or its ketimine compound. In this case, characteristically, the transesterification is carried out in the presence of a titanium catalyst represented by the following general formula: O=Ti[OCOQCOOM(1/n)]2 (wherein Q is direct bond or dicarboxylic acid residue, M is an alkaline metal or an alkaline earth metal and n, a valency of M, is 1 or 2).
