PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information apparatus having a display device which is easily bent. SOLUTION: The film liquid crystal device 2 is provided with a sealing part 31 in the straight line portion which is almost parallel to the bending axis of the device. Thereby, even when the film liquid crystal device 2 is bent, the straight line portion is almost not bent so that bending of the device is not inhibited by the sealing part 31 or an uneven gap is not produced.
