PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user recoding sound to perform recording so as to change the recording time or the sound quality of an audio signal or to perform recording in an almost fixed recording time. SOLUTION: On a region or recording the main signal of a disk, analog audio signals are recorded as digital audio signals sampled at different sampling frequencies for every mltichannels of a first group and a second group and quantized by the number of quantization bits different for every channels of the first group and the second group. Furthermore, the digital audio signals are sampled at sampling frequencies identical with or different from the frequencies in the above multichannels, and are recorded as digital audios of stereo 2 channels.
