PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of bright lines and dark parts caused by a positioning projection, make the brightness of illumination light uniform, and prevent the break of the positioning projection. SOLUTION: The positioning projection 23 is installed on the side surface 18 almost perpendicularly crossing to an incident surface 3 of a light guide plate 2, and a positioning recess 25 engaging with the positioning projection 23 is installed in a frame 15 housing the light guide plate 2. In the positioning projection 23, the root of a first surface 28 is smoothly connected to the side surface 18 of the light guide plate 2 by the curved surface 31, and the root of a second surface 29 is smoothly connected to the side surface of the light guide plate 2 by a curved surface 33. |
