METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INCOMING PACKET DATA OF SPREAD SPECTRUM MULTI-USER CHANNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a data latency time for a shared channel and a common channel in multi-user environment. SOLUTION: Packet data from a plurality of data sources are received by a controller associated with a multi-user channel. Each packet of the packet data is prioritized partially on the basis of channel change possibility of a class of a data type. Each of the packets is scheduled to be sent through the multi-user channel partially on the basis of the prioritizing. The accumulated packet data held in a queue are tracked to be transferred through the multi-user channel. The amount of data output from each of the data sources is restricted partially on the basis of the queue holding the accumulated and tracked packet data.
