PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust timing variable structure for a 2-cycle engine to improve variations of engine speed or setting thereby to increase output in a medium-low speed region of an engine, by accurately controlling exhaust timing. SOLUTION: The exhaust timing variable structure 5 for the 2-cycle engine 2 comprises an exhaust timing valve 7 for opening/closing an upper portion of an exhaust passage 13 formed to the cylinder 9. Inside the cylinder 9, a guide stopper 19 for regulating operation in an closing direction of the exhaust timing valve 7, a coil spring 29 for urging the exhaust timing valve 7 in a closing direction of the exhaust timing valve 7, and a stopper 25 brought into contact with the guide stopper 19 to regulate the operation of the exhaust timing valve 7 are disposed integrally with the exhaust timing valve 7. A contact face 19g of the guide stopper 19 is brought into contact with and at an angle to a contact face 25g of the stopper 25. |
