PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap feeder with a superior handling characteristic and function providing easy loading work to a cap storage and switchable from cap delivery to transferring supplied caps by one driving motor. SOLUTION: This cup feeder is mounted in a cup type automatic vending machine selling beverage prepared inside the machine in a cup, and it feeds and fits a cap on an upper face of the cup with beverage. In addition to a selling column 14a storing a multiplicity of caps 10 in a stacked state and a cap drop ring 12, the cap storage 14 is provided with a drawing type cap supply column 15 and a pushing mechanism 16 collectively sending out the caps stored in the supply column to the selling column. The cap drop ring and the pushing mechanism are linked to a driving part 17, and the cap drop ring and the pushing mechanism are switched and operated by the driving part in accordance with a cap delivery or supply command.
