PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display device capable of displaying a picture having taste different from that in the conventional practice in the picture display device in which optical fibers are used. SOLUTION: In this display device, a picture input part 3 is formed by arranging end parts of one side of a plurality of optical fibers 4 and a picture display part 2 is formed by arranging end parts of the other side of the plurality of the optical fibers 4 and a picture to be projected into the picture input part 3 is displayed on the picture display part 2. Concretely, the picture display part 2 is formed by arranging the end parts of other sides of the optical fibers 4 at the opposite surface-side of the bottom part 5b of a container shaped easing 5 having a side part 5a and the bottom part 5b and the picture input part 3 is provided in the vicinity of the side part 5a of the easing 5 and a fluid 10 is poured into the easing 5 from the opening part-side of the easing 5. Then, a picture which is displayed on the bottom part 5b is seen through the fluid 10.
