发明名称 METHOD FOR INSPECTING SURFACE FLAW OF METAL ROD MATERIAL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a metal rod in which inspection miss of surface flaw is prevented surely. SOLUTION: At first, surface flaw of a steel rod is detected by a leakage flux flaw detector (STP2), and the position of a surface flaw is stored, as electronic data, in a storage section (STP4). Subsequently, the steel rod is excited and powder is supplied around the steel rod (STP5). Consequently, the powder is magnetized to aggregate at the surface flaw and then it is adsorbed to form a pattern of magnetic powder. Thereafter, the steel rod is carried into a dark room (STP6) and set on an inspection table. A light emitting diode corresponding to the position of the surface flaw is then lighted based on the positional data of surface flaw stored at the storage section (STP7). An inspector can know the position of the surface flaw with a lighting light emitting diode as a guide. Subsequently, the inspector visually determine the extent of the surface flaw (STP8).
