PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight material which can be mounted on a sash of a glazed sliding door, etc., easily fitted into/removed from a fitting part, kept fitted stably without slipping off after being fitted, and taken up to be stored and managed. SOLUTION: This airtight material is composed of an airtight material body 3 and an appropriately T-shaped cross-section leg 4 which is provided on a backside. A pillar 6 constituting the leg 4 is made of a rigid resin, and engaging pieces 7a and 7b at an end of the leg 4 are made of a soft or semi-rigid resin.
