<p>The present invention relates to the conversion in an NRD guide of the incident LSM mode wave into a circularly polarized wave. The LSM mode wave enters through a rod antenna (3), passes through a TE mode suppresser (5) which suppresses the wave of the TE mode element and passes only the LSM mode wave, and then reaches an LSE mode suppresser (6) after going through dielectric lines (4). Also, the LSM mode wave is divided into an LSM mode and a TE mode by a TE-LSM mode converter (7). According to the present invention, the circularly polarized wave may be generated by mounting the TE mode suppresser (5) and the TE-LSM mode converter (7) with certain distance in between and, thereby, enabling the waves of the TE mode and the LSM mode to have the same amplitude and to have the phase difference of π/2 multiplied by an odd number.</p> |
