PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner with which an image free from surface staining and the variation of image density is formed even in the case of continuing printing for a long time by using a cleaner-less image forming method, and to provide an image forming method using the toner. SOLUTION: The toner contains a binder resin and wax whose temperature at which percent loss in weight measured by TG-DT reaches 50% is >=300 deg.C. The image forming method comprises at least a latent image forming stage where a latent image is formed on the surface of a latent image holding body, a developing stage where the latent image is developed by using the toner, and a transfer stage where the toner image is transferred to a supported body. In the method, the toner remaining on the latent image holding body after transfer is used to develop the latent image in the developing stage and simultaneously recovered in a developing device. Such toner is used in this image forming method. |
