PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox flow battery, which can control unbalance of electrolytic solution amount and can suppress deposit of the electrolytic solution or the like also in float charging. SOLUTION: The redox flow battery has a circulation mechanism which supplies/discharges positive-electrode electrolytic solution and negative-electrode electrolytic solution to/from a main cell 31. It has a joining part 32, in which the positive-electrode electrolytic solution and negative-electrode electrolytic solution are mixed at the electrolytic solution discharging side of the main cell 31, and a diverging part 34, in which the mixed positive-electrode electrolytic solution and negative-electrode electrolytic solution are diverged at the electrolytic solution supplying side of the main cell 31. By mixing the positive- electrode electrolytic solution and the negative-electrode electrolytic solution, increase in resistance by liquid change, fall of capacity, and the deposit of the electrolytic solution can be prevented. |
