PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmitter that provides an image without the need for transmission of a large information amount and for a large information processing capability to a receiver side. SOLUTION: The transmitter generates an image placed in any of areas, to which area identification information to identify an area of the located image is imbedded, and transmits this image. The receiver reads the area identification information imbedded to the image, generates an image laying out the image to the areas and synthesizing them and displays the resulting image.
