摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high engine brake effect, gently shift to engine brake condition, and shift from the engine brake condition to an engine driving condition, without hitch, when driving down a steep hill in a V-belt speed variable change gear. SOLUTION: A driven pulley integrally has a cylindrical cam shaft 56 and comprises a fixed sheave 54 fixed in a driven shaft and a movable sheave movable in the axial direction, and is rotatable and inserted in an outer periphery of the cam shaft 56. A cam groove 57, expanding spirally, is formed at the cylindrical cam shaft 56 as a pressure control mechanism, and a roller 60 engaging with the cam groove 57 is installed at the movable sheave. A stopping face 61 for stopping the roller 60 at the determined stopping position P2 is formed at a cam working surface 57b at the side, with which the roller comes in contact out of cam working surfaces of both sides of the cam groove 57, when applying the engine brake.
