PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a high-performance film image signal being unable to be obtained, since the mechanism of an optical device is complicated, a darkroom is required, misalignment occurs in a movie film image section that is projected to an imaging position in the conventional device using a mechanical shutter and to provide an imaging device having an electronic shutter function. SOLUTION: The imaging device 9 has the electronic shutter function, thus eliminating the need for the mechanical shutter in the optical device 8. To correct the misalignment at the movie film image section, projected to the imaging position of the imaging device 9 due to slight deviation, caused by the difference between the period for stopping a movie film 6 and that for turning on the electronic shutter, an image position correction device 10 identifies the non-exposure section, holes for film conveyance, and exposure section of a movie film 6 according to an image pickup signal, based on the transmitted optical density of the movie film 6; returns to a standard position, based on the identified result; and takes out only the image section.
