摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional shape detection system, having an uncomplicated small device, and easily usable widely for general photographing, without being restricted to three-dimensional measurement, and to provide an optical device capable of photographing easily and surely, by preventing misoperation in use at the measuring time and at the general photographing time. SOLUTION: This three-dimensional shape measuring system is a pattern-projecting device, using emission from a stroboscope of a camera as a light source, transmitting light through a pattern mask, and projecting a three-dimensional position detection pattern to an object, and the pattern-projecting device is mountable on the camera and dismountable therefrom. A detection means for detecting the state, where the pattern projecting device is mounted on the camera or dismounted therefrom is provided, and light quantity adjustment of the stroboscope corresponding thereto is executed. When detecting a state where the pattern projecting device is mounted on the camera, a mode where photographing having projected pattern light and photographing which does not have projected pattern light can be conducted continuously is provided, and when photographing is not made to have projected pattern light, the pattern projecting means is retreated from a stroboscopic emission optical path, and the stroboscopic emission for normal photographing can be conducted.
