PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger with regional information fitting the travel condition of each vehicle. SOLUTION: An information transmitting method for transmitting information to an on-vehicle terminal mounted on a vehicle includes a step in which a server stores the travel schedule of each vehicle (1), a step in which the server stores the regional information of each region (2), a step in which the server receives delay information of the vehicle (3), a step in which the server receives vehicle specifying, information for specifying the vehicle from the on-vehicle terminal (4), a step in which the server calculates the travel location of the vehicle specified with the vehicle specifying information on the basis of the received vehicle specifying information, the stored travel schedule and the received delay information (5), and a step in which the server retrieves the regional information on the basis of the calculated travel location and transmits the regional information specified as a result of the retrieval to the on-vehicle terminal (6).
