PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory area using method in a mobile communication terminal for efficiently utilizing a limited memory by assigning a field memory area to a type of each piece of information and managing stored information of each individual in each field while bundling the stored information of each individual in the same index. SOLUTION: This method using a memory area is to include a step for assigning a memory area to each field and a step for giving an index to a memory area of the each field in each piece of information. This method is also to include a step in which a user inputs information in a memory, a step for deciding whether or not an index corresponding to the entered information exists, and a step for updating relevant information based on the decision.
