<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device in which power consumption is made to be decreased at the discharge lamp lights-out, and an economical direct-current power source circuit can be realized even though a rated allowable current is less. SOLUTION: The present discharge lamp lighting device is equipped with a direct-current power source 2 obtained by rectifying an alternating-current of a power source 1, an inverter 3 to convert the direct-current of the power source 2 into a high frequency wave, a discharge lamp FL wherein the output of the inverter 3 is applied via a ballast choke L1, an inverter control circuit 4 to control the inverter 3, a remote control circuit 6 to control the inverter control circuit 4 by receiving a remote control signal 5, the direct-current power source circuit 7 obtained from the alternative-current power source 1 side, and an auxiliary direct current power source circuit 8 obtained from the output side of the inverter 3. At the lights-out of the discharge lamp FL, the output of the direct-current power source circuit 7 is controlled to be supplied to the remote control circuit 6, but not to be supplied to the inverter control circuit 4.</p> |
