PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylenic polymer which is excellent in processibility represented by homogeneous stretchability, draw-down resistance, swellability, and extrudability and is excellent in mechanical properties represented by stiffness, impact resistance, and ESCR, especially an ethylenic polymer which is excellent in the balance between stiffness and ESCR in comparison with a known ethylenic polymer. SOLUTION: This polymer is an ethylene homopolymer or a copolymer of ethylene with a 3-20Cα-olefin and has a melt index (HLMI) of 0.1-1,000 g/10 min at 190 deg.C under a load of 21.6 kg, a density (d) of 0.935-0.985 g/cm<3> , a relation of HLMI with d satisfying inequality (i): d>=0.00900×Log(HLMI)+0.951, and a relation of ESCR with a flexural modulus (M) satisfying inequality (ii): M>=-7,310×log(ESCR)+32,300. |
