PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic film package which eliminates the fogging by light piping, facilitates the identification of a cartridge, prevents the leak light from a film-loading port and is environmentally friendly. SOLUTION: This photographic film package is formed by housing the cartridge into which the unexposed photographic film taken up on a shaft is built in a photo-tight state in a housing container consisting of a plastic sheet molding formed with a recessed part and a base material for hermetically sealing this plastic sheet molding. The cartridge is housed in the package in the state that the film-loading port exposing the tongue end of the prescribed length outside from the film-loading port of the cartridge and the base material face each other.
