VACCINE AGAINST CANCER DISEASES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE HER-2/NEU ONCOGENE

The invention relates to a vaccine against cancer diseases that are associated with the HER-2/neu oncogene. Said vaccine comprises at least one peptide having a length of 9 to 25 amino acids and a sequence that occurs in the extracellular part of the HER-2/neu protein or functional variants thereof, that is functional peptides or nucleic acid sequences encoding said peptides or mimotopes of the peptides. In an especially preferred embodiment, the vaccine contains a peptide having the sequence CRVLQGLPREYVNARHC and/or YMPIWKFPDEEGAC.
