PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition for an elastic member and an elastic member using the same composition, wherein the elastic member prepared from the composition holds low hardness and an excellent abrasion resistance, suitable to be used for various parts attached to an image forming device, especially for a developing roller. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for an elastic member attached to an image forming device contains (A) a butadiene rubber and/or a liquid isoprene rubber and (B) a silicone rubber in a weight of ratio of 97:3 to 5:95. The elastic member to be used for the image forming device is manufactured from the above rubber composition. |
