PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish reliable communication between equipment outside the home and a home gateway server at home. SOLUTION: The equipment 22 outside of the home and the home gateway server 12 are connected via a network 20. In connecting the equipment 22 and the home gateway server 12, both the equipment 22 and the home gateway server 12 are requested to show an electronic ID to the other party for authentication, preventing the occurance of wrong communication. |
