PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant comprising a natural product-derived component capable of exhibiting excellent fading and discoloration preventive effects on a broad range of pigments. SOLUTION: The antioxidant contains a water-soluble extract of rosemary and catechin at a weight ratio of 85:15 to 35:65.
