PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera that is capable of operation intended by a photographer, regardless of photographing environments. SOLUTION: When a palm H of the photographer, who is a subject faces toward an electronic camera 100, the electronic camera 10 recognizes the shape and color of the palm H, thus releasing a shutter or the like without using a remote controller used in the conventional technique, or without having to produce sound, eliminating the need for carrying the remote controller, and hence performing desired photography, regardless of the environment. |
