PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress convergence distortions caused by the fact that the peaks of a convergence correcting current waveform are located within an effective scanning range. SOLUTION: A convergence correcting current is outputted to locate its peaks at the same positions as the center of HBLKP and RED, BLUE and GREEN peak positions, thereby suppressing the convergence distortions due to factors, such as CY electromotive potential.
