PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying out the concentration and composition control of a mixed gas by using changes of composition in a vapor-phase and solid-phase hydrate following a formation of a gas hydrate with time. SOLUTION: In this method for concentrating a mixed gas containing at least two kinds of hydrate-forming gases, the method for concentrating the mixed gas is characterized in that the method comprises (i) a gas hydrate formation process for reacting the mixed gas with water under conditions to form its hydrate and producing a solid gas hydrate, (ii) a gas hydrate separation process for separating the formed gas hydrate from the mixed gas and (iii) a gasification process for making the separated gas hydrate into a cracked gas, the mixed gas obtained by the gasification process is used and a series of processes composed of the gas hydrate formation process (1), the gas hydrate separation process (ii) and the gasification process (iii) are repeatedly carried out.
