ANTIBACTERIAL AGENT USING RUSH, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND ANTIBACTERIAL MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems associated with the limited amount of raw materials from which antibacterial agents can be obtained, and to provide an inexpensive and constant mass-production method of natural antibacterial agents, which can be used not only in food industry but also widely in other industrial fields, using an antibacterial substance derived from rush. SOLUTION: Dried rush is ground to powder and taken as an oral medication in tablet form or in powder. Alternatively, a liquid antibacterial agent is provided using extracts of rush ingredients. Since the antibacterial agent prevents the growth of and destroys harmful microorganisms, the agent can be used in food industry as a bacteriostat or a bactericide. When used as a food additive to prevent food spoilage, the agent is safer than chemical agents. The agent is safe when taken by a sitotoxism patient.
