PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the motor speed by using a single simple speed control circuit regardless of the size of a load. SOLUTION: The motor controlling apparatus comprises, a rectifying circuit and a smoothing circuit, a converter circuit having a chopper circuit for controlling a DC voltage by using a switching operation and an energy storage effect by an inductance, a motor driving apparatus having an inverter circuit connected to the output of the converter circuit, and a motor, a converter controlling circuit for controlling the switching operation of the chopper circuit, an inverter controlling circuit for controlling the switching operation of the inverter circuit and driving the motor, a speed detecting circuit for detecting a position of a rotor of the motor and calculating the speed, speed controlling circuit for inputting a calculated speed value and a speed instructing value and controlling the speed of the motor through the inverter controlling circuit, and a DC voltage controlling circuit for inputting an output signal from the speed controlling circuit and controlling the DC voltage through the converter controlling circuit based on the output signal. |
