PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the next photograph being unable to be taken during display period, and there is the possibility of losing a good opportunity of taking a photograph, even if record processing is quickly completed by setting the display period of a freeze image to fixed time, when the image data of one screen being photographed in synchronization with the ON operation of a release button are displayed on a monitor as the freeze image in a period for executing a series of processing from compression to recording into a record medium. SOLUTION: A photographer determines whether the ON operation of the release button is continued at a point, when record processing to the record medium of the image data of one screen of an object to be recorded is completed. When the ON state continues, the freeze image is displayed. While the ON state is not continued, the display of the freeze image is canceled, but a through image is displayed for returning to a state in which photograph can be taken. |
