PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and measurability of a solid lubricant and to improve the environmental deterioration of a forging site. SOLUTION: This lubricant for forging comprises the solid lubricant composed of one or more kinds graphite, carbon black, coal cinders, molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide and boron nitride, which is made into a green compact having a fixed particle size. Preferably the solid lubricant comprises further any of waxes (1) of microcrystalline wax and paraffin wax and <=20 mass % of one or more kinds of low-melting lubricants (2) of zinc stearate, calcium stearate, lithium stearate, ethylene bis-stearamide and methylene bis-stearamide. |
