PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process wherein resin particles in a suspension can be efficiently separated and recovered. SOLUTION: This process for producing resin particles comprises the step of adding a water-soluble acidic substance or its aqueous solution to an aqueous suspension containing resin particles and an inorganic suspension stabilizer of which the suspension stabilization effect can be decreased by an acidic substance for suspending the resin particles, thus increasing the acidity by 1-5, the step of thermally treating the suspension at a temperature 10-100 deg.C higher than the suspension polymerization temperature, and the step of subjecting the suspension to solid-liquid separation and drying. The process does not substantially contain a disintegration step. |
