PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range finder which can measure the distance of a low- luminance object with auxiliary light without increasing the cost and being affected by temperature. SOLUTION: This range finder has a temperature detection part 3 which detects ambient temperature, an auxiliary light part 4 which emits the auxiliary light, and a microcomputer 1 which controls the integration of an AF(automatic focusing) sensor 2, and the microcomputer 1 varies, on the basis of the detection result in the detection part 3, the decision level for deciding whether the auxiliary light part 4 emits the auxiliary light. |
