PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change gears continuously, and to improve controllability, when forward running and backward running are repeated. SOLUTION: In the hydraulic driven vehicle, which runs with changing gears by a hydraulic continuously variable transmission 23, having a variable capacity type hydraulic pump 51 and a fixed capacity hydraulic motor 52, a sensor 111 which detects the rotational position of a main transmission operator 7, a sensor 116 which detects the transmission position of a sub transmission operator 10, a switch 102 which detects the rotational position of a forward-backward running switching operator 8, a sensor 64 which detects the inclination angle of a movable swash plate 53 of the hydraulic pump 51, and a member 67, which changes an inclination angle of the movable slant plate 53 are provided to be connected to a controller 110, and it is controlled so that the movable swash plate 53 is inclined to the operation direction of the forward-backward running switching operator 8 and to fall to the speed set by the main transmission operator 7.
