PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for maintaining a stored quantity of commodities in an automatic vending machine capable of properly replenishing fresh commodities by grasping the stored quantity of the commodities in the automatic vending machine from a remote place without periodically confirming the stored quantity of the commodities in the automatic vending machine on site. SOLUTION: The method for maintaining the stored quantity of the commodities in the automatic vending machine includes a process of detecting a residual stored quantity of the commodities in the automatic vending machine by a counting means connected to the automatic vending machine, a process of sending a discrete value acquired from the counting means to a first calculating means from the counting means, a process of sending the discrete value from the calculating means to a second calculating means when the discrete value shows a preset value or less in the calculating means, a process of calculating a difference between a maximum stored quantity of the commodities in the automatic vending machine and the discrete value in the second calculating means, a process of outputting the difference acquired by the second calculating means, and a process of inputting a quantity of the commodities equivalent to the difference into the automatic vending machine. |
