PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave correction watch capable of automatically selecting the receiving frequency of a standard time wave signal and correcting time based on the received standard time wave signal. SOLUTION: A control circuit 14 makes a switch SW1 connect to a solid contact (a) to a contact (b) and a receiving antenna 111 receive an AM broadcasting. In the control circuit 14, an AM radio broadcast frequency list at every area is read out of an AM broadcast frequency memory 114. In an AM broadcast receiver circuit 113, the receiving intensity of the AM broadcast is measured. In the control circuit 14, a receiving area is specified based on the measured results and the list. According to the receiving area the frequency of the standard wave signal is selected and is output to a long wave receiving frequency memory 115. In the control circuit 14, the switch SW1 is made to connect the solid contact (a) to a contact (c) or (d) so as to set the resonance frequency at the selected frequency, in order to correct time based on the time data included in the standard time wave signal received with a long wave receiving circuit 112 by way of the receiving antenna 111. |
