PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build up a data communication system at a low cost especially without using an exclusive facility, that can easily be extended or relocated by general intelligence and cope easily with a scale from a small scale to a large scale. SOLUTION: A phone terminal 10 provided with a communication function and a display function of image information transmits a request command to request the image information to a computer (information management unit) 16 managing storage of the image information, lays out a picture and displays it in response to the image information sent from the information management unit 16, a user optionally selects information included in the displayed picture according to the operation, transmits a selection command to the information management unit 16 and the system lays out a new picture depending on the image information sent from the information management unit 16 depending on the selection command and displays the picture.
