PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch device capable of carrying out a sure switching operation while always properly keeping an arrangement relationship among a key top, links and a rubber spring and allowing the thinning of itself by effectively using the thickness of a holder member. SOLUTION: This key switch device is so structured that rotation lock parts 27 for rotatably locking pin parts 12a and 12b formed in the first link 4, and slide lock parts 28 for slidably locking pin parts 14a and 14b formed in the second link 5 are formed on the holder member 7, a through-hole 7a for disposing the rubber spring 6 between the lock part 27 and the lock part 28 is formed in the holder member 7, and pressing force based on the input operation for the key top 2 is made to act on a nearly central part of the upper face of the rubber spring 6.
