PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibacterial polyamide fiber and an antibacterial polyamide crimped textured yarn exhibiting a good antibacterial activity, slightly causing discoloration (color development) even when an alkali treatment is carried out, causing remarkably slight lowering of the antibacterial activity after washing and having excellent resistance to washing, and to provide a method for producing the antibacterial polyamide fiber. SOLUTION: This antibacterial polyamide fiber has excellent resistance to washing and is characterized as comprising a polyamide resin containing 0.1-5.0 mass% of zinc oxide fine particles and having <=2.5 color differenceΔE before and after the alkali treatment and >=2.2 bacteriostatic activity value after 50 washings.
