PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on screen display in which erroneous display of color can be prevented by eliminating variation in the DC level at the time of switching an input chroma signal and a chroma signal for OSD. SOLUTION: The on screen display comprises a voltage holding section 100 for holding the voltage level of an input chroma signal at the time of non- signal, and a switch 102 outputting a voltage level held in the voltage holding section 100 during on screen display period and outputting an input chroma signal during other period.
