PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of such a problem that a quartz-oscillator is dislocated on the body of a quartz-device and the durable reliability of the device drops. SOLUTION: The quartz-device is composed of the main body 1 having mounting sections on both upper and lower surfaces, and wiring layers 2 led out to the external surface of the main body 1 from the mounting sections, the quartz-oscillator 5 mounted on the mounting section on the upper surface of the main body 1, and a semiconductor element 6 which is mounted on the mounting section on the lower surface of the main body 1 and compensates the temperature of the oscillator 5. The main body 1 is made of an aluminum oxide-based sintered compact and the oscillator 5 is mounted on the mounting section on the upper surface of the main body 1 through a supporting material 8 having elastic modulus of <=2.8 GPa.
