PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for a portable wireless machine capable of being slid to a box body and capable of being completely stored in the box body and having wide-band characteristics in the same manner as the case of drawing-out even at the case of storage. SOLUTION: The antenna for the portable wireless machine has the first antenna element being slidable to the box body, and the second antenna element fixedly arranged into the box body. Capacity is coupled and an antenna system is formed by bringing near and arranging the lower end section of the first antenna element in the case of storage and the upper end section of the second antenna element.
